It seems funny to me that I can read Ellie's ques, as she is the easiest (least fussy) baby I know. She's usually all smiles and rarely crying...although she certainly has her moments. She doesn't usually cry to get attention or to get what she needs...it's more of a babble.
Anyway, tonight as Big A, the kids, and I were watching some cartoons, Ellie started to babble and squirm meaning she was ready for bed. She and I went into her room and rocked in the rocking chair for a bit. As I sang songs to her, she closed her eyes and rubbed her face with her blankie.
I sang the usual lullabies and my kids' favorite 'I am a Child of God'. She was still awake, so I racked my brain for a new song to sing...'Row, Row, Row your Boat'. Perfect! As I sang the last 'row', she started to giggle. When I got to 'merrily', she started giggling even louder! It was hilarious. I sang the song about five times and she laughed at the same spots each time.
She truly is a blessing to our little family and we all love her so much!

Cheeseburger French Fry
I bought some fabric a couple of months ago (I know I'm a complete slacker...no need to point it out), with the intentions of making a little sleeper for Ellie. Unfortunately, the fabric wasn't long enough for what I wanted, so I created a little skirt out of it.
I didn't use a pattern and it turned out a little bigger than I anticipated. The darn thing is too big for FiFi (it kept falling off her during our little photoshoot on the deck), so it definitely isn't going to fit my tiny Ellie anytime soon.
However, it is stinking CUTE! I wish I would have bought fabric to make all three of my girls skirts (and Hunter a matching tie *wink*)...hmmm....
Anyway, I plan to make a matching little brooch for her shirt and flower for her hair. She's going to look adorable in it...in a couple of years:o) Maybe I'm not such a procrastinator afterall...hahahaha!

The kids love to call each other, me, daddy, grandma, cousins, whoever a Cheeseburger French Fry or Cheeseburger Taco...pretty much Cheeseburger anything. I think it's hilarious and the kids love it. I was calling Harmonie a Cheeseburger French Fry in this picture to get her to smile...what a goofy little munchkin!

We Miss You, Daddy!
Hi babe! Here are the pictures of the kids I promised you. The kids miss you really bad! I'm having a great time with you gone...my boyfriend's on his way over:o)
Hunter and Haileigh turned the box that my new serger came in into a car...it went in the recycling can yesterday.
I borrowed this little jumper from Em...Ellie hates it!
She's getting too big! She laughed and giggled today...she loves me blowing raspberries on her neck and tickling her ribs, thunky thighs, and neck. This is her new favorite sleeping position...our little rollie pollie bug:o)
I hope your girlfriend is enjoying you...I'm really jealous of her. Have her give you a kiss for me!

Where Did the Time Go?
Can you believe this little beauty is four months old? She is the happiest, sweetest little angel EVER!
She sleeps through the night (and still most of the day), she loves her family, and smiles all day long! She has recently started grabbing at things (like the laundry while I tried to fold clothes today) and giggling (especially when her big sis FiFi plays with her).
Oh how I love this sweet baby!

Note to Moms...
who have two year olds that get into EVERYTHING...make sure your little ones know the difference between lip gloss and super glue! If you don't, they will surely glue their finger to their mouth while trying to apply it, thus also super gluing their lips closed (unfortunately, not permanently).
When she pulled her lips apart and her finger from her mouth, it tore her skin all up and left a mess of super glue. Poor little turd. You think she'd learn!

Little Birdies
Last week my mom discovered the most adorable little baby birds at my grandma's house. As soon as I heard about them, Big A and I packed the kids up to go see them. The fuzzy little things would squawk like crazy when they thought nobody was around, but as soon as they saw a human, they'd cower down in their nest and were really quiet.
Hunter was a turd when he saw them and mumbled something about squashing them ( I think he somehow related them to mice). Harmonie, on the other hand, clenched onto my arm because she was terrified they were going to bite her! Haileigh didn't get a chance to see them in person, but loves looking at the pictures.
Today, I took my grandma shopping and decided to check on the little birds. They are so BIG! One was teetering right on the edge of the nest. He looked like the rebellious one...the one that's determined to give the mommy bird a heart attack! I didn't have my camera today, but here's a glimpse of them from last week. Aren't they cute?
